Downsizing
Choose a home that gives you the rooms you still use and less space to look after. Todd Devine Homes offers one, two and three bedroom designs for downsizers who want a comfortable home that suits the way they live now.

What to expect
Moving from a long-term family home can involve a lot of decisions at once. The size of the home is only one of them. You also need to think about the rooms you still want, how the layout will work day to day, where you plan to build and how much of the process you want handled for you.
Choose a layout with the living space, bedrooms, storage and finishes that matter to you. The aim is a home that feels comfortable from the day you move in and works for the way you expect to live in the years ahead.
We handle permits, approvals, construction and delivery. You're kept informed every step of the way, without having to do any of the heavy lifting.
A smaller footprint means fewer rooms and less overall space to look after. You can focus on the areas you use most while still choosing a layout with room for everyday living, visitors and the things you want to keep.
You’ll have people you can speak to throughout the project. Ask questions, check where things are up to and talk through decisions as they come up.

The journey
You should know what happens before you commit. Our team guides you through the site assessment, approvals, construction and handover, with each stage explained as your project progresses.
1
Call us or visit the display village to talk through what you’re looking for, where you’re considering building and which designs might suit your situation.
2
Using satellite imaging and planning data, we check whether your preferred design suits your block, usually without needing to visit in person.
3
You receive a provisional quote price with the costs set out clearly. We’ll walk you through each line item so you understand what is included before you commit.
4
Our team manages building permits, planning applications and working drawings. You’ll know where the project is up to without having to manage the approval process yourself.
5
Your home is built on our site or yours. Your dedicated supervisor keeps you updated throughout construction, typically 16–20 weeks.
6
Take your time at the final inspection and make sure you’re comfortable with the finished home. Once you’re happy, the final payment is made and the keys are yours.
A different kind of living
Think about what you still want from your next home. A comfortable living area, room for visitors, useful storage, a generous kitchen or perhaps a study may still matter even when you no longer need the scale of the family home.
The right layout gives those spaces priority while reducing the amount of home you need to maintain day to day.
